Understand what already works
Map your existing systems and the dependencies between them. Identify the parts your team trusts, the parts that create problems and the information that must survive any transition.
Separate urgent repairs from long-term change
A critical reliability problem may need immediate attention. A platform replacement requires a different plan. Treat both explicitly so that temporary fixes do not quietly become your whole strategy.
Move in manageable stages
Where practical, replace one workflow or component at a time. Validate migrated data, test the new process with its users and agree what must be true before retiring the old system.
Plan for ownership after launch
Documentation, access, monitoring and support are part of the project. A modern platform is only a better foundation if your business can keep operating and improving it.
